  • Boat safari on the Rufiji River – spot crocs & hippos up close

  • Spot wildlife including elephants, zebras, giraffes, lions & wild dogs

04:30 – 05:00 AM | Hotel Pick-Up in Zanzibar

Your day begins in the quiet early morning hours.

Our friendly driver will pick you up directly from your hotel anywhere in Zanzibar.

As you drive toward the airport, the island is still sleeping, giving you a peaceful glimpse of dawn.

We’ll help you with check-in at Zanzibar Airport and ensure you're set for the adventure.

06:00 AM | Scenic Flight to Selous (Mtemere Airstrip)

Board your light aircraft and take off into the morning sky.

The 1-hour flight from Zanzibar to Selous offers breathtaking aerial views of the Indian Ocean, winding rivers, rural villages, and the endless African bush.

As you descend into Selous, you’ll notice how remote and wild it feels.

Welcome to nature’s kingdom.

07:15 AM | Arrival & Safari Briefing

At the Mtemere Airstrip, your professional safari driver-guide will welcome you in a rugged open-roof 4x4 safari vehicle.

After a quick safety and route briefing, your full-day safari begins!

07:30 AM – 12:00 PM | Game Drive in Selous Game Reserve

Feel the thrill as your vehicle rumbles over dusty tracks and across open savannahs.

You’re now deep inside the UNESCO-protected Selous Game Reserve.

Your game drive includes:

  • Close encounters with elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes

  • Hippos and crocodiles lounging along the Rufiji Riverbanks

  • Birdwatching paradise with fish eagles, kingfishers & hornbills

  • With luck — a rare sighting of the African wild dog

Your guide tracks fresh prints and sounds, stopping at every wildlife sighting. No fences here — just raw nature.

12:00 PM – Lunch Time

01:00 PM – 03:00 PM – Afternoon Game Drive

If time allows and energy permits, we’ll continue exploring for a final 30–45 minutes. It’s your chance to spot any animals missed earlier or revisit a favorite spot.

Your guide adapts the route based on your interests — lions again? More birds? Let us know.

03:30 PM – 04:00 PM Transfer Back to the Airstrip & Flight to Zanzibar

As the day winds down, we’ll return to Mtemere Airstrip.

Board your return flight with a full heart and a camera roll filled with memories.

Great Spice Farm & Jozani Forest Tour I did the Spice Farm and Jozani Forest combination tour with Zanzibar Ibrahim Tour. I was travelling alone and had the tour to myself, which made it a very relaxed and personal experience. The Spice Farm was very interesting with a knowledgeable guide, followed by a delicious local lunch. Afterwards, we went to Jozani Forest, where we were very lucky and quickly found a large group of Zanzibar Red Colobus Monkeys. Everything was well organized from pickup to drop-off, and I felt safe and well looked after throughout the whole tour. A great experience and definitely recommended!

A wonderful memory! Ibrahim was truly fantastic; he knows his country like the back of his hand and showed it to us with such joy. Ibrahim speaks French, which is quite rare in Zanzibar for a local guide.

Maluun Caves and round-trip transfer: The trip was wonderful. We thoroughly enjoyed it. The driver was very courteous, as was the staff at Maluun Cave. Maluun Cave is a very picturesque place. Snorkeling equipment, water shoes, life jackets (if needed), and towels (very good quality) are provided free of charge. The entire area is very clean. We were also able to observe the monkeys, which can be seen in Jonazi National Park, very closely. Massages are also available. There is a restaurant on site serving light meals. We highly recommend this trip.

Great day at sea We had a lovely 3-hours tour with "Zanzibar Ibrahim Tours" which included snorkeling at the Blue Lagoon and starfish sightings. The snorkeling was amazing and we were very excited to see so many colorful starfish. Captain Moses was lovely, he served us a wonder platter of tropical fruits. Thank you Ibrahim and team! 👏🏾
