Day 1: Zanzibar ➝ Tarangire National Park
Morning:
- 06:00 AM – Your adventure begins! Early transfer from your Zanzibar hotel to the airport for a scenic 1.5-hour flight to Arusha.
- 07:30 AM – Upon arrival, your friendly Ibrahim Zanzibar Tours safari guide will meet you at the airport with a warm welcome and safari briefing.
- 08:00 AM – Hit the road in a comfortable 4x4 safari vehicle, driving through the picturesque countryside to Tarangire National Park (about 2 hours away).
Late Morning:
10:00 AM – Enter Tarangire National Park, where your game drive begins.
Keep your camera ready! You’re in elephant country — Tarangire is famous for its massive elephant herds, towering baobab trees, and predators like lions and leopards. You may also spot zebras, wildebeests, giraffes, and hundreds of colorful bird species.
Afternoon:
- 01:00 PM – Enjoy a delicious picnic lunch inside the park, surrounded by breathtaking savannah views and roaming wildlife.
- 02:00 PM – Resume your game drive, exploring diverse habitats and tracing the Tarangire River, where animals gather to drink and hunt — especially in the dry season.
Evening:
- 05:30 PM – Exit the park and drive to your comfortable lodge or tented camp near the park.
- 07:00 PM – Settle in and enjoy a hearty dinner under the stars, listening to the sounds of the wild. Share stories by the campfire before retreating to your cozy room for a restful night.

Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater Safari ➝ Zanzibar
Early Morning:
- 05:30 AM – Rise early for breakfast. This is a day you'll never forget!
- 06:00 AM – Depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area (3–4 hours drive), passing through lush highlands and local villages along the way.
Late Morning:
- 09:30 AM – Arrive at the Ngorongoro Crater rim. Prepare to descend into this UNESCO-listed natural wonder, often called the Eighth Wonder of the World.
- You’re now entering one of the densest concentrations of wildlife in Africa, with a chance to spot the Big Five — lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and black rhino.
Midday:
12:30 PM – Picnic lunch at a scenic hippo pool inside the crater. As you dine, you’ll watch hippos wallow, birds fly past, and maybe even a lion yawn in the distance.
Afternoon:
01:30 PM – Continue exploring different crater habitats — from open plains and swamps to the Lerai Forest and Lake Magadi. Each turn may surprise you with rhinos, warthogs, or a cheetah on the hunt.
Late Afternoon:
03:30 PM – Ascend from the crater and drive back toward Arusha.
Evening:
- 06:30 PM – Arrival at Arusha Airport. Board your return flight to Zanzibar.
- 08:00 PM – Land in Zanzibar and transfer back to your hotel with your camera full of memories and your heart full of Africa.
